A Different Point of View

Finding a meeting ground, a common place to share a point
of view, is not always easy.
It's important to know what is important to the other person,
or else a solution
may not be in sight. When there is clearly no meeting ground,
it makes sense to
walk away from the situation.
Try to see it my way
And together we can go a mile or two
I'll try to see it your way
And together there is nothing we can't do…
We can work it out,
We can work it out ---
Just think about it -
Is it so impossible?
I've got to remind you my friend
We've got to see it our way,
And it's only then that we can look beyond the bend.
I can see it your way,
But then about this I'm afraid we disagree
You can see it my way
But you've decided you've another place to be…
It's not working out,
It's not working out…
So what about it?
Let's shake hands and go our way
Perhaps we'll meet again one day
When we can see it our way…
And when the time and place is right,
perhaps we may!
