It's So Good to be Alive!
How often do we celebrate the simple fact that
we're alive?
We can learn this from a child or a baby - they gurgle, chuckle,
laugh out loud so many times a day,
it makes us join in their unaffected delight. Laughter is good medicine,
and if you feel good about yourself you will probably not fall sick.
Send an "I love you" message to yourself. Smile often,
laugh a lot, spend time with people, learn from children. Go for
a walk, enjoy the fresh air, the sunshine and the breeze, forget
all your cares, just feel good to be alive!
Happiness is bubbling,
bubbling inside me
Rippling,
rippling inside me
Surging,
surging inside me
It's so good to be alive!
It's the song on my lips
And the smile in my voice
The bounce in my step
And the laugh in my throat
The spring in my walk
And the joy in my heart,
It's so good to be alive!
It's a pool of sunshine
And a well of laughter
A sea of friendship
And a river of smiles,
An ocean of caring
And the warmth of sharing,
It's so good to be alive!
